Overnight global production and distribution

Chris Fowler International’s business has been built on printing and distributing highly confidential, market sensitive research to fund managers on a worldwide basis.  Working for a number of world leading investment banks, this remains Chris Fowler International’s core business.  In fact Chris Fowler International is probably the one remaining specialist in this field.  This business has developed from providing print only services to investment banks in London, through providing print and distribution from it’s three wholly owned sites, London, New York and Hong Kong, to now offering it’s market leading ‘distribute and print’ service through it’s three owned sites and a network of seven affiliates around the globe.

‘Distribute and print’ is the service whereby electronic files are sent to the regional hub nearest to the point of delivery.  This not only accelerates desk side delivery but also has two further and significant advantages.  Firstly, cost reduction.  Distribution prices continue to rise, both organically and due to various surcharges.  Distribution now represents a significant part of the combined delivered cost.  Chris Fowler International believe that this delivery cost increase will continue.  The biggest cost component of the global delivery is the long haul element.  Local production which requires only local delivery dramatically reduces the combined print distribution cost.

Secondly, and inline with Chris Fowler International’s ethos, the cost of long haul is not just significant in terms of cost but also in terms of it’s environmental impact.  By printing locally the Client has the ability to dramatically reduce its carbon footprint.

Supporting this initiative and indeed underpinning it, is Chris Fowler International’s investment in and exploitation of, the latest digital technologies. This allows cost efficient split printing as, unlike lithographic production, small run production is cost effective.  Digital production is also more environmentally friendly than lithographical production.
